The Austrian artist, photographer and designer Josef Pausch talks about his work. His intensive engagement with photography attempts to respond to the all pervasiveness of the medium in our lives and its ability to make time stand still. During his travels throughout the USA, Pausch shot several motel interiors - vacant and sterile spaces, threatening and claustrophobic, suggestive of film noir.
